The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles found that his license expired from the national registry in'1996, but the man's commercial license did not expire until 2001. The man called both the Ohio BMV and the New York BMV, and each told him they could not call the other. The Ombudsman contacted the Ohio BMV and spoke to a person in the division handling out-ofstate processing.
