Guide - GUIDE to the Dwarven Mines Update [UPDATED - Jan 26] (2024)

-- Accessing the Dwarven Mines --
First, you need access to the Deep Caverns
Once you are there, Go down to the Obsidian Sanctuary and talk to Rhys

He will be near the entrance of the obsidian sanctuary and will ask you for 3 different sets of 10 enchanted items
Bring the items he asks for and right click him to be sent to the Dwarven Mines
Youll need Mining XXII (12) in order to enter

MITHRIL - Requires a Breaking Power of 4 to mine
Found in any of the Blue Vanes you find around

TITANIUM - Requires a Breaking Power of 5 to mine
Shows up occasionally while you mine Mithril - will be a Polished Diorite Block

GLACITE - Doesnt need to be mined
Kill some Ice Walkers at the Great Ice Wall (low % Chance to drop)

STARFALL - Doesnt need to be mined
Kill Star Sentrys or Treasure Hoarders to get some

TREASURITE - Also doesnt need to be mined
Kill Treasure Hoarders (low % Chance to drop)

-- Commissions --
Commissions will help raise your Heart of the Mountain level or HotM for short
You can get these commissions by talking to the King in the Royal Palace
You will be able to see these commissions in tab at all times so you can keep track of your progress

-- Forging --
In order to access forging, you must be HotM level 2
To forge something, you must go to, well, the forge
Right click on a Forger to get started

Forging things will take time - Hours or Days in fact - but it can get you some good stuff
(Forge Slots may be broken or Unreleased right now - I can't find any ways to get more unlocked)

Refined Diamond - Requires 2 Enchanted Diamond Blocks - 8hrs
Refined Mithril - Requires 160 Enchanted Mithril - 6hrs
Refined Titanium - Requires 16 Enchanted Titanium - 12hrs

Garry Events
Raffle - Go to the designated location and turn in as many tickets as you can before the time runs out
Goblin Raid - Goblins will show up in a designated area - kill all of them to win! - kill at least 25 to get rewards
Double Powder Event - Doubles Powder for 15 mins

Random Events
Powder Ghast - Hit the ghast as many times as you can to get Mithril Powder
Star Crash - Doubles Powder at a Specified area and spawns Star Sentrys

-- Heart of the Mountain --
Every HotM Level you gain, you will get 1-2 Tokens of the Mountain
You can use these to level up a skill tree of sorts

You can spend Mithril Powder (You get this from doing basically anything) on individual skills to level them up
If you wish to reset this skill tree, itll cost you 100k. But youll get all of your tokens and powder back! (Tiers are kept too)

Once you reach Peak of the Mountain, Upgrade it with mithril powder to get more tokens of the mountain

Diamonite - Fleet Reforge - +25 Mining Speed
Pure Mithril - Mithraic Reforge - +10% Chance to get extra Mithril Ore
Rock Gemstone - Auspicious Reforge - Help needed from comments
Petrified Starfall - Stellar Reforge - +8 Strength, +8 Defense, +6 Mining Speed, +1 Damage to Star Sentrys, 20% More Starfall Drops
Salmon Opal - Headstrong Reforge - ??? Found in Jayavarmen's Inventory

Plasma - Dropped by Ghosts in the mist
Sorrow - dropped by mist ghosts - Used to make Sorrow Armor - 50 Mining Speed per piece
Goblin Eggs - Have a .5% chance to spawn a Golden Goblin when thrown - dropped by Goblins
Volta - dropped by mist ghosts - drill fuel
Ghostly boots - dropped by mist ghosts
Bag Of Cash - dropped by mist ghosts - sells for 1 mil

-- Secrets --
If you talk to all the kings, you will get a King Talisman

When entering the Dwarven Village, take an immediate right and go up the stairs, talk to the man in bed during 3 separate skyblock days and he will take you to treasure

In the palace, take a right and go upstairs to find the Royal President. Talk to him for about 9 hours and you will get a special cake and a new achievement!

In the palace, take 2 lefts and youll find the puzzler. Complete his puzzle daily for 1000 free powder

Every Skyblock Week (days 7, 14, 21, and 28) go to the cliffside vanes and youll find a small cave that leads to the Star Cult. Go to their meetings wearing the helmet they give you to get 256 starfall every time you attend!

At the end of dwarven village (82 224 - 119) on top of some scaffolding is Fetchur he asks you to bring him different things every day and gives you a reward for it, usually some coins and mithril powder. Thanks, Reisan24
