I guess we just have to have a subscription to 1,000 different services to get the best prices 😬

$30 is a good price for the 1st party games, but not so much for Epic Mickey. And I don't know who would touch Just Dance at this price.

If you're looking at Kirby, it's $35 at Target with physical/digital options now, and you don't need a membership

Unfortunately, the majority of the deals are already 90% plus claimed. So, maybe not.

Last year everything was easily accessible but either way, they need to make the subscription worth it somehow 🤷 ♂️

For sure. I get that. It's just unfortunate that everything seems to be moving toward a subscription-based model. It's all a bit exhausting trying to keep up, and it doesn't seem like it's going to get better.

Yeah, I feel that sentiment. It's already like that in the entertainment sector with movies & TV shows and a million different streaming services that all expect you to shell out and it's annoying because of how segmented things are. We don't need retailers giving us the same predicament as well.

I was all ready to drop 60 bucks on a couple games before realizing it required a subscription. Thanks Walmart. Instead of getting some of my money, now you get none.

I mean, at that sale price (at least $5 cheaper than most other places with a sale) it may be a loss leader for them. Something where they lose money on the sale to make money on the subscriptions. If you aren't willing to drop money for the subscription there's no need to lose money selling to you.

If there's any left. I want to get my daughter Animal Crossing but she may want the digital version at $10 more anyway.

Just have a network of friends each with different subs and keep a spreadsheet of who has which sub.
